The LET’S TALK Developmental Hub provides supplementary comprehensive consultative services to teachers and other professionals working in mainstream schools, early education settings and other special education programs, through LET’S TALK Outreach Services. Advisory support is also available for professionals working with students with language-based learning difficulties, for example, dyslexia.
 
The LET’S TALK Outreach team, comprising education, speech language pathology, occupational therapy and physiotherapy professionals, conduct observations and provide support on-site at the student’s school.  LET’S TALK have a specific focus on improving students’ and families’ access to specialised services, particularly when they are disadvantaged by geographical isolation.
 
The  LET’S TALK Outreach team are enthusiastic in  their approach to supporting children and young people with speech, language and related learning disorders. They aim to contribute to understanding the nature and implications of primary language disorder and to work collaboratively with all members of the student’s educational team to ensure positive and relevant educational outcomes in their local school. Specific aspects of each student’s  language development will be highlighted .
 
The LET’S TALK Outreach team are also committed to working with local service providers and families in order to maximise the effectiveness of any advice and support.
